In „Historische Erkenntnis zwischen Objektivität und Perspektivität“ soll historische Objektivität verteidigt werden, ohne sich aber auf eine bloße Destruktion der Objektivitätskritik zu beschränken. Vielmehr müssen einige ihrer Einsichten ernst genommen werden, obschon ihre Schlussfolgerungen nicht bejaht zu werden brauchen.
